Celebrity Big Brother has received a number of complaints after airing the sensitive footage of Angie Bowie in the aftermath of learning that her former husband, David Bowie, passed away.
As a prior statement warned, she did learn of the tragic news off camera, and decided to remain in the house.
But at the end of the episode that aired last night (Monday January 11), we see the 66-year-old overwhelmed with emotion as she enters the Diary Room after discovering David passed away after an 18-month battle against cancer.
She said: "I haven’t seen him in so many years I can’t make a big drama about it, but I feel an era has ended with his passing, it’s so very sad."
Shortly after, she breaks down in tears in a hard-to-watch scene, and housemates as David Guest and John Partridge come in to sit beside her and support her as she deals with the news.
And not long after the moment aired, angry fans took to Twitter to say exactly how they felt about the decision.
