David, 40, might be a former England footballer and international icon, but he recently admitted he’s often the one taking pictures of Brooklyn and fans.
Speaking during a radio appearance, David said: “We normally get people coming up and saying, ‘would you might taking a picture with me?’, and they’re actually talking to Brooklyn rather than myself.
“And I’m the one that takes the picture!”
He might have a huge army of fans, but even Brooklyn has had to have ‘the talk’ from his dad when it comes to relationships.
But David revealed his eldest son was left embarrassed when he had the chat with him in front of wife Victoria.
He continued: “I’ve definitely given him relationship advice. Obviously he’s 16 years old and a few years back we had the talk.
“But Victoria was in the room and we kind of had a chuckle and he was kind of looking at me as if to say, ‘why are you doing this in front of mum?!’”
If Brooklyn thinks he’s got it bad, it’s nothing compared to David’s plans for when his youngest child and only daughter Harper, four, starts dating.
He added: “When it comes to my little girl’s first date I’ll be right next to her!”
