The McFly member has become a dad for the first time

Danny Jones and his wife Georgia have had their first child, Cooper Alf.

The couple announced the birth of little Cooper Alf today, Saturday 27th of January, on social media.

They captioned the picture of his little foot: "So overwhelmed with love, welcome to earth Cooper Alf Jones born today 1:36am."

So very adorable.

Danny and Georgia decided to keep the baby's sex a surprise until the end. That didn't stop fans trying to pick up what they thought were subtle clues about the baby though, pouncing on an Instragram Danny put up of a pair of shoes. Honestly, one surprise and people on the internet turn into Sherlock Holmes to try and get to the bottom of it.

Georgia, a former Miss England, soon put that to bed. "Just a pair of unisex grey shoes guys!! We absolutely 100 per cent don’t know what we’re having! #lovesurprises,” she said. (Though we're sure that didn't stop some fans from scanning every social media post for more clues as to the baby's sex!)

The pair kept fans up to date with the pregnancy with regular pictures of the couple and Georgia's bump. Hopefully they'll carry this on with adorable pictures of Cooper Alf as he grows up.

They've been married since 2014. Speaking about the special day at the time, Danny said: "When I saw Georgia, I couldn’t really take it. My legs shook. It was the most amazing view I’ve ever seen."

The wedding included Mario Falcone from TOWIE, as well as McFly and Busted members Tom, James and Matt.
