Danny Dyer’s on-screen son Sam Strike ‘dating’ real-life daughter

Danny Dyer's on-screen son Sam Strike, aka EastEnders' Johnny Carter, is dating his real-life daughter Dani, it has been reported.

According to insiders Sam, 21, and 18-year-old Dani grew close while working together on film Bonded By Blood 2 – and Danny, 37, couldn't be happier!

A source told The Sun: "As soon as Dani and Sam met, thanks to Danny, they hit it off. It was a bit of a coincidence, but luckily for them Danny didn't mind.

"He found it funny and fully supported them seeing each other. He cracked a few jokes and teased them."

Sam quit EastEnders last year, making his final appearance on the BBC One soap on 23 December.

Speaking about his exit, he told Digital Spy: "I didn't really feel like at the time my character was necessarily needed in EastEnders."

But executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins later insisted that the door would be 'left wide open' should Sam ever want to return.

Let's hope Danny can convince Sam to do just that now they're going to be spending a lot of time together.
