Danny, 38, appeared on Nick Grimshaw’s Radio 1 breakfast show today to promote his new book, Life Lessons from the East End.
EastEnders favourite Danny admitted Jeremy, 50, takes quite a battering in the book, telling Nick: “It’s not necessarily him as a man because I don’t know him, it’s just his show.
“I can’t stand the geezer which is probably a bit strong considering I’ve never met him.”
Danny continued: “He makes entertainment out of people’s despair and I can’t have that. So if I bump into him, I’ll see what happens. If he swings a right-hander at me, we’ll see what happens. I’ll just choke him.”
It’s probably safe to say Danny was just having a bit of banter with 30-year-old Nick, at Jeremy’s expense – but we definitely wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of him!
In the book, which is out now, Danny lays into the telly host a lot more and even admits that he ‘despises’ him.
He wrote: “I despise Jeremy Kyle, every bone in his stuck-up, sanctimonious, two-faced body. He’s a smug exploiter of misery, a nasty piece of work.”
