Just like his character Mick Carter, who recently accepted a proposal from his childhood sweetheart Linda (Kellie Bright), EastEnders star Danny Dyer is busy planning his wedding to Joanne Mas.
But while 37-year-old Jo is said to be hoping for a “two or three day” wedding, Danny is hoping to keep things a LOT more low-key.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “It's going to be in a registry office.
"We'll have a few prawn vol-au-vents - and a couple of whelks knocking about."
He added teasingly: "We haven't set an exact date yet but it'll be in August."
Joanne popped the question to Danny earlier this year after 20 years (yup, YEARS!) of dating.
Speaking at the time, Danny explained that he never expected his childhood sweetheart to propose.
He said: “It was a complete bolt out of the blue but I’m so glad she did it because I don’t think I could have taken the rejection.
“I love the fact that Jo proposed.”
The couple first met when the BBC One star was just 14-years-old and, for him at least, it was love at first sight.
He said in his autobiography: "We had our first snog in the rubbish room at the Shipman Youth Centre… it was the best day of my life because I met the girl who would become my lifelong friend and mother to my kids.
"She was so much a part of me that I just couldn't imagine life without her."
They really ARE the real-life Mick and Linda Carter, aren’t they?
We can’t wait to see their wedding photos.
