Kellie Bright was paired up with Kevin Clifton when she stepped into the ballroom for the Strictly Come Dancing launch show this weekend.

And plenty of people were absolutely STOKED to see the real-life Linda Carter on the ballroom dancing show - including her on-screen husband, Danny Dyer.

"Danny said, 'Don't do it!’” she told OK! Magazine before the show.

“No, he's a massive support to me, he's also quite nervous for me. He feels quite protective of me! 'What if they say nasty things to you?'"

But, judging by his Twitter feed, anyone looking to say anything bad about Kellie’s dancing will DEFINITELY have to go through Danny first.

Tweeting excitedly about his best friend and co-star, he wrote happily: “And so it begins...

“@kelliebright76 mincing about with a lovely geezer from Grimsby.”

Danny added firmly: “#voteforthebright”

Kellie, spotting the tweet, responded: “What would I do without you @MrDDyer? x”

Yup, they really ARE just as cute in real life as they are on the soap!

However Kellie made sure to thank all of her loyal fans, not just the real-life Mick Carter.

The EastEnders actress wrote: “I can't say thank you to every single person that tweets me their support, but I can say...THANK YOU EVERYBODY! I'll do my best 4 u all x [sic]”

N’aww.
