After hitting out at 37-year-old James for his comments about on-screen wife Kellie Bright, Danny, 38, labelled the dancer a ‘kept man’.

Sharing a snap of Jordan with partner Ola, Danny wrote: “That moment when your wife pays the mortgage and utility bills. #keptman @The_JamesJordan [sic].”

James, who was dropped from Strictly Come Dancing in 2013, was quick to hit back at EastEnders star Danny, taking a swipe at his previous drugs confessions.

“Don’t forget the holidays and cars,” James replied. “Unlike you she didn’t stick all her money up her nose.”

But Danny – who plays EastEnders favourite Mick Carter – didn’t seem bothered by James’ low blow.

He wrote: “Hahahaha. Who’s on the fishing line now????? [sic].”

James, who previously appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, then attempted to mock Danny for his Jonathan Ross show appearance at the weekend – but something tells us he probably regretted it instantly.

“You ever been asked to talk about your ‘career’ on Jonathan Ross??? Or ever by anyone… ever?? [sic],” Danny hit back. Ouch.
