Danniella Westbrook delivered a petition to Downing Street earlier this week, in a hope to have convicted child abusers ‘named and shamed’ in the UK.

The soapstar was joined by her ex, East 17 frotnman Brian Harvey, whom has done his bit to raise awareness for the campaign by posting a rap video to YouTube.

Called Invisible, it asks listeners to put themselves in the shoes of child abuse victims.

The opening lyrics are: “It’s like no one’s there, I’m shouting and screaming but no one hears.

“Is it the fact that I’m young so they don’t understand me and no one cares?”

Danniella was quick to post the video to her Twitter page, writing: "Brian Harvey - Invisible (video) Can every1 RT this video please.

"Because ABUSING CHILDREN IS WRONG. #StopItNow."

Now the actress - who made her name as Sam Mitchell in EastEnders - has gone one step further, asking her followers to follow her campaign and support her plea to have child abusers ‘named and shamed’ in the UK.

She wrote on Twitter: “Please all follow myself and Brian Harvey's campaign against naming child abusers in your streets & towns.”

She added: “Go follow @Invisiblerevol1 myself & Brian Harvey's campaign Twitter.

“[We need] to name & shame pedophiles in the UK [so that you] know who lives near your kids.”

With the support of Paedophile Hunter Stinson Hunter (who wrote: "I think it's great that more high profile people are standing against it”), the couple have set up their Invisible Revolution profile on Twitter.

In their bio, they claim to “stand against people who abuse children & fight for the victim’s justice.”

In their feed, they have explained that they want a law like Megan’s Law, which requires persons convicted of sex crimes against children to notify local law enforcement of any change of address or employment after release from custody (prison or psychiatric facility).

It was brought in to the United States in 1996 after the murder of seven-year-old Megan Kanka by a convicted paedophile.
