There are fears that the star's septicaemia may have returned.
Troubled star Danniella Westbrook previously suffered septicaemia (blood poisoning) following surgery on her teeth two years ago.
But the star has been spotted clutching her jaw in pain on her way to hospital, according to The Mirror, in fears that it may have returned.
The 44-year-old actress posted on Twitter in June on her fears of the infection, which is commonly caused by large amounts of bacteria entering the bloodstream. At the time, she shared her worries about the infection returning.
She posted: "Super poorly face has swollen up so so bad and pain unbearable waiting to hear if I need to go back in hospital and praying it's not septicaemia again... could cry.
Danniella had previously told The Mirror that her bones were rotting away inside her face due to years of dodgy surgery and drug abuse.
She said, "I just don't look like myself anymore. Obviously I'm going to age a lot faster anyway because of the drugs but I didn't need this as well."
Danniella's septum famously collapsed due to drug use, and recently, Daniella admitted to using drugs in the last four years - despite previously claiming that she had been sober for 13.
She appeared alongside fellow ex-addict Kerry Katona on Loose Women, admitting her drug problems and that she tragically attempted suicide just two years ago.
She said: "Everyone thinks my lowest point was when I got seen with a hole in my nose but my lowest point has been the last four years and not having my daughter in my life, not having certain things in my life, I haven't dealt with it the right way, I haven't dealt with it the adult way. I have just used."
"All I've done is used. I put myself into hospital two years ago, I said to them 'I have taken copious amounts of coke, every medicine in the house, drunk alcohol; this, that and the other, and I am still waking up - why? Please section me, I am trying to kill myself'."
"And they sectioned me. I wanted to die. And I thought 'what could be the thing that could kill me fast enough that won't give my kids a lot of shame?'"
We hope that Danniella gets through these tough times and gets the help that she needs.
