Shortly after making her EastEnders debut as Sam Mitchell, Danniella began dating East17's Brian Harvey. The young couple were a regular on the 90s celeb party circuit, with Danniella saying of their relationship, "It was all fast cars, flash clothes, flash blokes, lovely flat - I had a popstar boyfriend and it was all good for a short while," in an interview with The Observer in 2002. Danniella and Brian split after four years of rocky romance and wild nights out.

After the breakdown of her first celebrity relationship, Danniella began dating Robert Fernandez. Danniella and Robert went on to have a child together, a son named Kai, in 1996. However, the relationship was not to last and the pair split just one year later.In 2001, Danniella and Robert entered into a bitter legal battle over custody of their son.

After her split with Robert, Danniella quickly found lover again with van driver Ben Morgan. Kevin blamed Danniella's persistent drug use for their failed relationship.

But the fling turned into something more series, as the pair went on to get engaged. However, after both admitting to using cocaine again, Danniella and Tom split within a year.

Developing a bit of a penchant for a younger man, Danniella embarked on another fling with toy boy George Arnold after splitting with Tom. However, her romance with 24-year-old George was equally as ill-fated. Danniella's relationship with toy boy Alan Thomason certainly was not short of drama. The couple announced their engagement just weeks after their romance came to light, and it was soon revealed that Danniella was pregnant. Shortly after news of the pregnancy broke, Danniella was accused of cheating on Alan during an all-day party in Benidorm. At the time, the man Danniella allegedly cheated with revealed to The Sun: "The next thing I know she's all over me, snogging the life out of me, and we stayed with her for about six hours on a drinking session."We kissed between 10 and 15 times, I had her sitting on my lap and everything."Tragically, Danniella later suffered a miscarriage and her relationship with Alan came to an end in September 2017.

After a tough 2018, Danniella Westbrook life seems to be taking a turn for the better. In June 2019, the former EastEnders star revealed her mystery man, Dominco, after initially sharing snaps of her beau in May. According to reports, Dominco has been helping the star recover from her latest stint in rehab, following a relapse to cocaine after she struggled with a womb cancer battle. Jeremy Kyle sent Danniella to rehab after an emotional interview and it is thought that Dominco has been by her side through the rough times. More recently, Danniella has been sharing loved-up snaps of her snuggling up to her new boyfriend.
