She changed her life after finding love with footballer Jamie O’Hara in 2009 – transforming from wild party girl to devoted wife and mum.
After a string of cheating footballer ex-boyfriends, Danielle Lloyd told Closer in 2013 she wouldn’t forgive her husband if he strayed and, standing by her word, filed for divorce last September after Jamie was reported to have been unfaithful with two other women.
But in a surprise U-turn, insiders say the 31-year-old – who was spotted dressed to the nines at a lunch date in Liverpool last week – is now eager to bag herself another footballer husband, and has been leaning on fellow WAG Abbey Clancy, who she met up with in Dubai recently.
A source reveals: “Danielle has been hurt by footballers in the past and, after Jamie cheated, she swore to friends she was done with them.
“But after seeing Abbey in Dubai, she admitted she missed being the wife of a footballer. She always aspired to be a WAG and loved the glamorous lifestyle. She loved cheering on her husband and the tight social circle of all the other WAGs. Right now, she’s lonely and would like to find love again.
"She asked Abbey to set her up with someone new. Abbey told her she knows loads of eligible footballers through her husband Peter [Crouch] and was happy to help.”
