Her world may have imploded last summer when her two-year marriage to footballer Jamie O’Hara collapsed amid claims he had cheated, but Danielle Lloyd tried to put on a brave face as she threw all her energies into her three boys.
However, last week marked a significant step following the marriage breakdown as reports suggested the couple’s marital home in Sutton Coldfield had been sold for £1.95m.
And pals say that as the reality now hits Danielle, mum to Archie, four, Harry, three, and 17-month-old George, she’s become more aware of how alone and vulnerable she feels.
A source says: “Danielle had been on autopilot ever since the split, her priority has been her boys’ happiness. But now reality has hit. Her divorce will be finalised this year and she’ll officially be a single mum.”
The source adds: “Danielle doesn’t feel like the confident, happily married woman she used to be, and she hates that.”
Danielle, 31, has only publicly commented on her heartache once, saying in September: “I don’t want to talk about Jamie, I have [pals] Dawn [Ward] and Kym [Marsh] to talk to when I need to, they are my rocks. I need to [look good], I’m single now… single, ready to mingle. I just want to concentrate on my boys.”
Danielle has been regularly enjoying nights out and last week revealed she couldn’t wait to head to Ibiza this summer, but pals worry she’s partying to ease the loneliness.
