Tom, 23, works as a property developer in Dubai, and it's been alleged that he was held by police on Sunday under suspicion of pocketing deposits for luxury apartments.
A source told The Sun: "He drove Ferraris and Lamborghinis on nights out at exclusive clubs. But Dani obviously had no idea he had creditors out there baying for his blood."
According to reports Tom could face a long stint behind bars if he's found guilty of the crimes.
Mum-of-three Danielle's rep has insisted she's no longer in a relationship with Tom, telling the Mail Online: "[She] has no comment to make save as to confirm that she is not in any relationship with Mr Jimson."
Danielle is said to have enjoyed a three-month long-distance relationship with Tom, and regularly posted on Instagram about missing her man.
Their brief relationship came after Danielle's messy split from footballer Jamie O'Hara.
In August last year Danielle kicked Jamie out of the marital home, after he was reported he'd cheated on her.
