Love Island’s Dani Dyer, who isexpecting her first child with boyfriend Sammy Kimmence, has urged mums-to-be not to dabble in home ultrasound gadgets if they’re prone to “anxiousness and stress” about their pregnancies.
The daughter of EastEnders hardman Danny Dyer took to her Instagram stories to review a fetal doppler – a handheld ultrasound device which is supposed to detect your unborn baby’s heartbeat – and said it only caused her more worry when she couldn’t hear anything at 15 weeks.
“Nothing against it, some people are really lucky and find a heartbeat in six weeks.
"I tried this at home - it made me ill. If you're a little bit of a worrier, like me, I just really don't recommend them because if you can't find the heartbeat, you're stressing about it. I know I was."

The NHS website advises against using at home devices like the one Dani tried as they're unreliable and a handheld doppler "should only be used when there's a medical need and only by, or under the supervision of, a healthcare professional."
According to Mother&Baby, "Though the technology in the device is safe, the results can be interpreted in different ways, and the long-term effects of repeatedly exposing a baby to ultrasound waves from these devices are unknown."
Danny has been sharing her pregnancy journey with fans, earlier this monthopening up about her changing body and carb cravings as she posed in a pink bikini.
