Dan Whiston, who is dancing with Hayley Tamaddon in this year's series of Dancing On Ice, is the show's ultimate champion - he's lifted the trophy three times during the series and, if things play out well, he and Hayley could do so for a second time together. Especially as they beat Beth Tweddle during their high-powered ice duel to Christina Aguilera's Stronger!
Now, in an exclusive column with Closer Online, everyone's favourite professional skater has revealed everything you wanted to know about the show, from backstage gossip to easy-to-follow toning exercises.
WEEK 5: THE DUEL
It was nerve-wracking to see Hayley Tamaddon go up against Beth Tweddle but, obviously, we all get on really well. With so much going on, you just have to work as a team, so that's what we did - and I was so pleased at how well it went.
Obviously myself and Elizabeth are close, as I was partnered with her last year, so I was really rooting for her too… and when I heard she'd made it through to next week's show I was massively relieved.
My favourite routine was…
…ours - it was an amazing song and such a great performance piece! But, if i had to pick someone else, I'd choose Gareth Gates. I know he's been getting a lot of stick on Twitter, but it was just so great to see such a different side to him on the ice.
I was definitely entertained.
Beth kept saying "Hayley performs for a living" when asked about her ice rival…
…and it's true, Hayley is a performer. But everyone has their strong points in this series; Beth is amazingly flexible, Ray is technically amazing - we've all got a different hidden talent.
But I love that Hayley and I try to turn each of our routines into a story - it really helps us nail the routine, to put all that emotion into it and to connect with the audience. The Charleston had a great story, our Call Me Maybe routine was really fun, the Jai Ho one was obviously very dramatic - it means that we have a few really memorable routines that people think of when they think of us, rather than just one. And that's amazing.
Ray Quinn is the one to beat at the moment…

Ray is obviously the one to beat at the moment. He's consistently been sat at the top of the leader board - and he's always at the top of his game. But we've been steadily improving each and every week, so i feel like we're in a good position too.
As Ray said himself, the pressure at the top of the leader board is huge; the judges have higher expectations, they want to be entertained - you just can't predict who's going to go each week.
I was really shocked to see Bonnie leave
But, at this point in the competition, it's always going to be a shock when someone goes. Nobody deserves to go - and, as we all know, somebody will always leave. Nobody's safe. We were sad to see Bonnie leave but she left with a smile on her face, because she's a true performer - and she'll be back to support us behind the scenes.
This series is easily the best ever of Dancing On Ice…
There are so many twists, so many added shocks - the duel element this week was amazing and it really tested our celebrity contestants to the max. Next week marks the 30th anniversary of Torvill and Dean's infamous Bolero routine, so we're going back to the 80s. Expect leg warmers, big hair, funky tunes and general amazingness.
There are rumours, which have been denied by ITV, that Dancing On Ice could continue without Torvill and Dean. Would I consider presenting in their place?

Well, you never know - but those are some really big skating boots to fill. I say let's focus on this year for now and, in the meantime, watch this space!
***An ITV spokesperson said: ***
"Torvill and Dean are the most successful ice dancing partnership of our generation and brought huge integrity, skill and professionalism to the show and with their departure, it feels like the series has reached its natural end.
"It is always a difficult decision to say goodbye to successful and long running shows but with change comes opportunity and the chance for us to bring in new and exciting programmes for our viewers."
In the meantime, fancy getting a skater's bum in four minutes?
We've done abs, we've done legs, we've done bingo wings - but what about getting a dancer's bum? All it takes is four minutes a day - and it's really easy.
-
Stand with one foot in front of the other, bend your knee and dip down into a lunge.
-
Rise back up again quickly and repeat - you want to do as many as you can for 60 seconds.
-
Swap legs and repeat!
-
Next stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and bend your knees, so that you're sitting on an invisible chair
-
Hold it for five seconds, before rising up to standing
-
Repeat this as many times as you can in 2 minutes - you should really feel those glutes working!
Find it hard staying cool under pressure? Just breathe!
It may be easier said than done, but, to stay cool under pressure, I really recommend focusing on your breathing. It usually goes one of two ways with people when they're nervous; they'll be breathless and gasping or they'll be holding their breath in anticipation - don't do either! Just focus inwards, listen to the music, take deep breaths and try to get a rhythm going. It will definitely stop your nerves in their tracks.
Look out for Dan Whiston's column next Monday - and don't forget to tune in and vote for him and Hayley in this weekend's episode of Dancing On Ice 2014!
