Since 22-year-old Jacqueline’s pregnancy announcement in September last year, split rumours have continued to surround the couple and in November Dan tweeted ‘Relationships just do not seem to work’.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Dan explained: “That was just me having a temper tantrum after a silly argument and wrote something silly on Twitter – I didn’t think it would get such a reaction.”

Dan is already dad to son Teddy, one, from his relationship with teacher Megan Tomlin. Just before Christmas, Megan reportedly posted a message online, seemingly accusing Dan of cheating on Jacqueline.

When asked about the situation with Dan’s ex, Jacqueline said: “We don’t really want to talk about Megan.”

Dan added: “No, we don’t want to speak about my ex. I have an incredible son, an incredible girlfriend and an incredible daughter on the way. I do not stay at my ex’s any more and haven’t for some time –we are civil for Teddy and that’s that.”

But Dan and Jacqueline did confirm they are living together. She said: “It’s fun. It’s cosy!”

Dan said: “I’ve put my stamp on it with an Xbox One as soon as I moved in! It’s just nice and homely. We love cuddling up on the sofa watching Netflix every night. I make her watch all the action movies.”

Despite having gone through parenthood already, Dan admitted he’s excited about having a little girl. He said: “We had one of those 4D scans, which was wicked, you see everything – she’s got Jackie’s lips and nose, she’s gorgeous. I’m glad she hasn’t got my massive nose.”

But Jacqueline has yet to see Dan in action as a dad, with them admitting she hasn’t met Teddy yet. Dan said: “She will once the baby is here because our new baby will be Teddy’s sister so there’s no choice. Now is the time to all be grown up.”

Suggesting that Megan didn’t take her pregnancy news well, Jacqueline said: “I think some things are better unsaid,” before adding that they haven’t met yet.

Jacqueline has obviously had to leave EastEnders to have the baby, but Dan insisted he has no plans to leave TOWIE. However, Jacqueline said she will not be appearing on the ITVBe reality show any time soon.

She said: “I don’t think I’d fit in. I’m not friends with any of them, not in a horrible way, I just don’t know them. Everyone seems lovely – well most of them!”
