Father-of-two Dan has been given his marching orders from TOWIE and bosses have confirmed that after a short suspension earlier this year, he will not be returning.
“Dan was suspended during the last series of Towie, and Lime Pictures and ITV have since decided he will not be returning to the show,” a spokesperson told The Sun.
“We wish him luck in the future.”
Dan’s future on the reality show has been up in the air since a series of recordings, claiming to show Dan being verbally abusive towards his ex girlfriend Megan Tomlin, came to light.
In one of the vile rants, it’s claimed Dan can be heard telling Megan – who’s the mother of his son Teddy – to shut her “f*****g mouth”. In another one he says he knife her if she ever moves on with another man.
Dan has worked hard over the past few months to try and rebuild his reputation as a family man. He’s currently in a relationship with EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa and the couple have a baby girl, Ella.
Dan has yet to comment on the news.
