Daisy May Cooper has spoken out about the breakdown of her marriage to Will Weston – and how welcoming her son helped her realise their relationship was over.
The 36-year-old comedian split from Will after three years of marriage in July 2021. The couple share daughter Pip, four, with Daisy welcoming her son Jack in October 2020 – just months before the couple parted ways.
Recently opening up, Daisy explained that she knew her marriage was over when she realised she “dreaded” taking her son home to her husband after giving birth during lockdown. She said, “I was desperately unhappy in my marriage, but didn’t realise it at the time, and then lockdown put this massive spotlight onto it. I had my son in lockdown. It was a mess. The hospital weren’t allowing the husbands to come in – and that’s when I knew I couldn’t go back to him.”
Daisy later enjoyed a five-month romance with chef Ryan Weymouth – even going so far as to ink his name on her ring finger – before sources say the This Country star called it off.
Earlier this year, she showed off her first-ever tattoo – Ryan’s name – placed conspicuously on her ring finger.
The 35 year old met Ryan last year, after splitting with husband Will Weston in the summer.
Rumours first started circulating when the couple appeared together (and may we say very loved up) on the red carpet of the NME Awards at London's O2 Academy Brixton, which Daisy was hosting alongside Lady Leshurr.
The sparks were definitely flying, with the two even sharing a romantic kiss. Daisy confirmed his identity when she tagged him in a since deleted Instagram post.

Who is Ryan Weymouth?
Ryan is a private chef cooking on yachts, at pop ups and events and performing cooking tutorials. Not a whole lot is known about him as of yet. From his Instagram page we can tell he cooks some fancy food.
From his profile it also seems he is well travelled (one of the perks of the job we guess) and has passion for sport and great food.

It is not clear exactly when or how Daisy and Ryan first met.
Ryan posted a picture of the two of them on Instagram in December 2021.

It seemed things were pretty serious between Daisy and Ryan, at least if their red carpet pics were anything to go off. It soon became clear that Daisy was no longer trying to keep the relationship a secret.
