Courtney Stodden: ‘I don’t want to feel I can’t depend on my husband’

The 19 year-old glamour girl opened up to new housemate Lauren Harries in the Big Brother garden about her love for her 53-year-old husband, actor Doug Hutchison.

‘He means so much more to me than this freaking house and I don’t want to leave this house feeling so strong and independent that I can’t depend on him anymore,’ she confessed.

‘I don’t ever want him to let go and I don't want him to let go,’ she said.

The young CBB star also declared her loyalty to new friend Lauren, saying: ‘It's just a balance. I'm trying to balance everything, I’m only 19 and I’m trying to balance everything... it’s so freaking hard and if you weren’t in this house I’d walk out of here – that’s how much strength I draw from you.’

Meanwhile, returning housemate Carol McGiffin was less convinced by Courtney’s love for the 53 year-old actor.

‘I heard her say to someone when I saw him I felt really distant from him,’ she whispered to Louie. ‘Apparently he said to her ‘what th f**k are you wearing, because she wasn’t wearing…nothing.’

The Loose women star earlier used her ‘Killer Nomination’ to put Courtney up for eviction.

Making it clear the pair are unlikely to strike up a friendship like Courtney and Lauren, she said: ‘I’m really, really disappointed that you had the biggest treat in the whole house and you didn’t want to pay for it – and everyone lost the challenge.’

She added: ‘We’ve never really had a proper conversation and we never will have a proper conversation as long as there are mirrors around.’

But Courtney was not inclined to disagree with the accusation during a heart to heart with Big Brother later that night.

‘I am a glamour girl,’ she conceded. ‘Every mirror I see I do look in, I’m not gonna deny that. Now she’s back we’ll cover up all the mirrors in the house.’

Courtney, Dustin, Abz, Bruce, Lauren, Louie and Vicki will face eviction on Friday.
