Courteney Cox has revealed what life is like after a divorce - and she's done it in with style, restraint and class.

The Friends actress, who turns 50 this summer, has spoken about her continuing love for ex-husband David Arquette in the February issue of More magazine.

"When you love someone, you want them to be happy, even if it's not with you.

"In divorce you always have regrets, [but] We were married for a long time, so it’s not like we didn't try."

Courteney and David remain good friends and are co-parenting their daughter Coco, who is nine years old.

"Obviously, kids always want their parents to be together," Courteney said honestly, when asked how her daughter was coping. "But as divorces go, this is the best one we could provide."

Both Courteney and David have moved on with new partners; he is currently expecting a baby son with girlfriend Christina McLarty, while Courteney is dating Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid.

It's lovely to see two people maintain such a healthy relationship after a split, isn't it?
