Courteney Cox has called of her engagement to Johnny McDaid. The couple got engaged in June 2014, after dating for six months, but now TMZ report they’ve called time on their relationship.

The publication claim that Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny moved out of Courteney’s Malibu house and returned to Ireland when they split. The couple have not been pictured together for some time and, earlier this month, the Mirror reported that Courteney was seen at her good friend Ed Sheeran’s gig without her engagement ring.

Previously, Courteney’s not been able to contain her excitement at Johnny’s sweet proposal, which involved her daughter Coco.

“They made a plan to count down from three and when they got to one, he was gonna get down on his knee and say, 'Will you marry me?' and she was gonna say, 'Will you marry him?'” the former Friends star told Jimmy Kimmel. “They planned it out. They found the perfect tree that branches that led to one trunk. It was just beautiful.”

The pair first met through Ed and Courteney had even planned for him to sing at their nuptials, saying: “We are certainly grateful to Ed for introducing us. I can't imagine him not playing something at the wedding. It'll be a musical night.”
