Tina O’Brien make her living as Sarah Louise Platt in Coronation Street, so she is used to being in front of the camera.
However the mum-of-two was left unnerved when a stranger began filming her as she paid for petrol at a service station.
A friend of the soap star told the Sunday People: “She was by herself when she was approached at a petrol station while in the queue to pay.
“She didn’t see him initially and was totally unaware he was filming her at first because he was behind her.
“She had no idea what his intentions were and felt very intimidated and frightened by him and his manner towards her.
“She was left feeling very shocked and shaken up.”
As seen in the footage (which has since been shared on Facebook), the 32-year-old is shown politely asking Wesley Wainwright - who chronicles his life under the pseudonym Guillotine Mack - to stop filming.
But, when he refuses to put the camera down, Tina snaps.
The stunning soapstar can be heard snapping: “Please can you f*** right off.”
Shortly after the incident, Tina took to Twitter to share her frustration with her 167,000 followers.
She said: “Just because apparently I’m ‘on TV’ doesn’t give someone the right to scare and harass me while I’m on my own trying to pay for my petrol.”
Her fans were quick to offer their support, with one writing: “Omg Tina! That is awful - hope you’re okay?”
Another added: “That’s awful; some people are so rude.”
However some users were less than impressed with Tina’s response to being filmed.
One wrote: “Oh get a grip! You were very rude and Guillotine Mack Diaries was harmless - I have seen the video!
“Drama queen.”
Tina, not one to take that lying down, responded politely: “I hope you're never in that situation.
“You have no idea.”
The video, which Wesley added to his Guillotine Mack diaries page, has been watched by 67,000 people.
However, since the backlash, the videographer has seemingly now set his account to private.
