Alison King and Shayne Ward were spotted cuddling at the TV Choice Awards - and the pictures have certainly set tongues wagging about the duo.
But are the real-life Carla Connor and the former X Factor winner really an item?
Speaking in her column with OK! magazine, Kym Marsh - who stars as Michell McDonald in the soap - decided to have her say on her co-stars.
She said: ”There was also a picture of them cuddling the next day.
"I know there were some comments about whether they’re an item, but that’s just Ali – she hugs everyone!
"She holds my hand and cuddles and kisses me, she’s very tactile and affectionate and so is Shayne."
She added: "That’s just how we are at work – there’s nothing more to it than that!"
Well, we suppose that’s THAT cleared up then.
Shayne Ward made his Coronation Street debut as Aidan Connor last month, while Alison King has played Carla Connor since 2006.
She recently revealed that she will be leaving the soap - although Corrie bosses have promised that she has many more storylines to tackle before her departure.
At least she's made some life ling friends to take away with her, eh?
