Coronation Street’s Sam Aston, who plays lovable rogue Chesney Brown, has been enjoying his honeymoon with new wife Briony.
The newlyweds jetted off to the exclusive Maldives retreat of Kuramathi Island after their nuptials earlier this month, and yoga teacher Briony has been giving us poor sods at home life with her plentiful beach snaps.
Showing off a number of gravity defying yoga poses against the stunning backdrop of white sand and crystal clear seas, the lucky lass hasn’t been coy about sharing their experience.

In one snap she’s wearing a leopard print bikini and stands on one leg with the other straight in the air, and has captioned the post, “Just a bird in paradise tryna be a bird of paradise.”
She’s even got new husband Chesney involved in some of the pics, posing with him on the beach in a post she’s captioned with a honey pot and a moon emoji – cute!
The couple got engaged in 2017 when Sam got down on one knee in front of over 250 people at the annual charity golf dinnner that he hosts with co-stars Alan Halsall and Andy Whyment.

“We’re quite private people so I wanted to do something she wouldn’t expect from me,” he told OK! magazine after she (thankfully!) said yes.
And Briony has kept fans in the loop throughout every stage of their wedding planning via her stories, which she’s now made into an adorable “highlight” reel chronicling everything from the proposal, to the hen do, to the morning of the wedding.
