It seems as if ANOTHER congratulations is in order for Samia Ghadie and Sylvain Longchambon.

Not only are the couple expecting their first child together (due later this year), but they have also just celebrated their engagement.

Taking to Twitter, the Corrie star happily flashed her diamond ring and a baby pink manicure at her fans.

She wrote excitedly: "So @slongchambon and I have some more happy news to share! #soexcited Xxx."

Sylvain replied: “@realsamia great manicure baby □ #shesaidOUI!!”

Speaking with OK! Magazine about her news, Samia revealed that the pair are already making wedding plans and would ideally like to tie the knot in France.

And she also revealed that she adores how much her Dancing On Ice boyfriend helps out around the house, particularly how lovely he is with her daughter from a previous relationship, Freya.

The soapstar gushed: "He's laid-back and loyal and he's gorgeous too, which helps!

"We've just always got each other. He makes me crack up, he's brilliant. The way he is with Freya melts my heart."

Following a splurge of congratulatory messages on Twitter, Samia wrote: “Thanks so much to everyone who has sent @slongchambon and I [such] lovely messages of congrats, it's much appreciated!

“You’re a lovely lot!”

Samia and Sylvain met over two years ago when they were partnered up on Dancing On Ice.

At the time, Samia said: "I can see how you’d end up in a relationship with your partner. You get to know each other intensely and there’s a lot of trust."

Clearly her comments rang true, as, shortly after being eliminated, Samia split up with her former Corrie co-star, Will Thorp.

Sylvain quickly followed suit by chucking his then-girlfriend Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe - who he also met on Dancing On Ice - and, before too long, he and Samia were happily coupled up.

It’s good to hear that, while they met on the ice, their relationship is hotter than ever.
