The 42-year-old revealed the happy news in a Facebook status shared by Attitude magazine.
He said: “Exactly 10 years ago, Cam and me had our first date. Today we’re getting married. We haven’t told anyone because we don’t want a fuss.
“Just doing it quietly with the kids and a few close family peeps. Exactly the way we always wanted.”
Charlie and Cameron have two children, Georgia, five, and three-year-old Hal, who they raise with their biological mother.
The former Coronation Street star's wedding comes after he admitted they’d shunned the idea of the glossy magazine deal, despite his celebrity status.
He told the Mirror: “I don’t know how or when it’s going to happen, but we’ll probably just go off and do it quietly. No OK! wedding for us – unless the money is right!”
Speaking about his family life in 2011, in his column for the Guardian, Charlie said: “One of the great things about my family is that, instead of the usual two parents, Georgia (and baby-to-be) have three.
“That’s three pairs of hands to share the load and, especially given that we’re all flexibly self-employed and close friends, it means that life runs pretty smoothly most of the time.”
Congratulations to Charlie and Cameron!
