Samia made her way back to the set several weeks ago to once again take up her role of Coronation Street’s Maria Connor.

But the Mum-of-two has admitted that going back to work hasn’t been easy on her and her family.

Speaking to Reveal magazine, the 33-year-old told how she’s like every other mum trying hard to mix motherhood with, well, the rest of life!

“The juggle is real!” she joked.

“I’ve still got baby brain. I can’t remember my name half the time.”

Samia has been a loved character on the ITV soap since 2000, and has taken two maternity leaves from the show to have daughter Freya in 2009 and then son, Yves in 2015.

And although the busy mum has said the Corrie set feels like ‘home’ she admitted she does feel guilty about being away from her little ones.

“I do have mummy guilt, I think all women do when you’re juggling a career with being a mum.”

The star, who is currently engaged to Yves father Dancing On Ice’s Sylvain Longchambon, also recently spoke about getting into shape before getting back to the cobbles.

Samia told OK Magazine:

“Sylvain came up with an exercise plan as I haven’t got a clue. He’s got me in shape for my Corrie comeback. What I really like is that because he’s a trained skater and athlete, he has different ways of training you.

“Sylvain never pushes me too much. If I don’t want to do it, I don’t do it. But I always do feel better when I exercise.'”
