Former Corrie star Tina O'Brien has announced she's expecting her second child with her boyfriend Adam Crofts.
The actress confirmed the happy news on her Twitter account after posting a three-month baby scan alongside the message: “So @adstraining85 and I have some lovely news....”
The soap favourite - who has not ruled out return to Coronation Street in the future - has yet to share further information about her pregnancy, but admitted she can't wait for her five-year-old daughter Scarlett - whom she shares with ex-husband and former co-star Ryan Thomas - to become a big sister.
Samia Ghadie, who plays Maria in Coronation Street, was one of the first to send Tina her congratulations, writing: “Woohoo!! Amazing news guys... Huge hugs n love!! xxx.”
After she received a flood of messages and well wishes from fans, Tina tweeted: “Thanks for your lovely comments we are so happy! Can't wait to have a little brother or sister for Scarlett to boss around."
Tina has been dating Adam, 27, for three years and has previously revealed that the secret to their relationship is his "caring" nature and the fact that he "makes me happy".
“It’s hard to explain how special he is, but I know he’s got my back.
“And I fancy the pants off him too – which always helps. Do I want to get married again? Yeah, maybe...”
