Catherine, who met Tom at the gym following her split from ex Sam Witter, defended how fast the pair had moved in their relationship, saying: 'Three months in I knew. We never argue. He makes me laugh until I cry.'

Tom and Catherine had only been dating for eight months when the romantic 27-year-old popped the question on a trip to Venice. Taking to her Twitter page, Catherine announced the happy news to her followers.
