Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd's eight-year-old son Greyson is said to be left in agony and 'paralysed with pain' as a result of a 'crippling rare illness'.
Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd's son Greyson has been diagnosed with the one-in-a-million, incurable genetic disorder called alternating hemiplegia of childhood, also known as AHC. The heartbreaking condition is said to leave eight-year-old Greyson in agony after and 'paralysed with pain' after crippling seizures.
Speaking to The Sunday Mirror, Greyson's mother Sammy Milewski, revealed: "If you saw what Greyson goes through on a daily basis, it’s heartbreaking.
"I don’t want to have to keep him cooped up, it’s really sad for him"
Sammy fell pregnant with Greyson after a one-night-stand with the Corrie actor in 2010, while he was still in a relationship with his then girlfriend Lauren Shippey. Jack - who plays David Platt in the much-loved soap, has never met his son, but after demanding a DNA test following the birth, pays child support to Sammy.
Greyson's mum went on to explain she's hopeful their son will be able to lead a happier life thanks to a change in the law which allows specialist doctors to prescribe a medical cannabis oil treatment.
She added: "I have been fighting for two years for Greyson to be prescribed cannabis oil and doctors assure me they will give it the go-ahead by the end of November.
“We’ve tried absolutely everything and I hope this is the answer."
Sammy also revealed Greyson has no idea his dad is famous, admitting she avoids watching him on telly.
"We try to avoid Coronation Street but Greyson likes Emmerdale – it comes on just before his bedtime," she told the publication.

Jim's big surprise
Jim reveals that the reason he's returned is to tell Liz some life changing news: the girl sitting on the next table is their daughter, Hannah, who they once knew as Katie. Liz is overwhelmed by the news - pretty understandable really.
Hannah/Katie
Jim later explains to Liz that there was a mix up at the hospital at birth, showing her a DNA test to prove it. It all gets too much for Liz (aww!) as Jim shows her a photo of Hannah, urging her to get in touch.
Hannah and Liz meet
Jim and Hannah meet Liz, along with Eileen, who's come with her for moral support, for lunch. Liz is overcome with emotion, saying she's waited her whole life for this day. They agree to meet again
Skeptical Steve
Jim breaks the news to Steve that his sister is alive and suffers from a disease known as Myotonic Dystrophy. Inviting Jim and Liz to their flat, they reveal what they've found - that Hannah isn't who she says she is! Good work by DCIs Steve and Tracy if you ask us.
Steve's not having it
Steve wants to do a DNA test himself, not convinced that Hannah is who she says she is. Jim invites a lawyer to speak with the family, who says they're looking at a big compensation payout. Uhoh.

Leanne tells Toyah that she's seeing someone from work, but when she's too scared to tell the truth, it sounds like she's seeing ADAM! Leanne then says to Imran she wants a no strings attached relationship and puts it on him in the office - Imran is happy to oblige.
Imran wins the lottery
Then, when Toyah lets slip to Adam that she knows about Leanne's office romance and give it her blessing, he's taken aback at her apparent liberal dating attitude. So he tells Imran that Toyah is fine with him seeing Leanne as well. What a day, Imran can't believe his luck!
