Corrie's Jack P Shepherd (who plays David Platt) has shared a funny text message he received from Sue Nicholls - his on-screen nan Audrey Roberts
We love a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday purely because we can sit down with our dinner and watch an episode of Coronation Street.
There's been a lot of drama on the street; Bethany has finally realised just how sick Nathan is, Eva will finally find out about Maria and Aiden's affair and Steve McDonald plans to propose to Leanne Battersby.
SO MUCH TO LOOK FORWARD TO.
We love the Corrie cast and Jack P Shepherd (who plays David Platt) has made us fall in love with them all even more. He recently tweeted about a hilarious and yet adorable text he received from Sue Nicholls, who plays his on-screen nan Audrey Roberts.
He wrote: "Just had a text from 'Me Gran' telling me
"'Darling give me a ring please. And I love you. P.S it's Sue Nicholls, I play Audrey Roberts.'"
We don’t know whether to laugh or cry about how adorable Sue is.
Lots of fans were clearly amused with one person saying: "This is hilarious. So funny."
Another wrote: "Brilliant."
A third person commented: "Ha ha love it."
Someone else added: "Today this made me smile."
It seems that the Platt family have a lot of banter on set too, Sue spoke to Yours magazine about her relationship with her on-screen grandson David and Nick (who's played by Ben Price) and said: "They can be very naughty sometimes and some days make me laugh so much.
"I was literally so exhausted from all the laughing the other day I had to sit down and a have a rest on Gail’s sofa."
It's obvious that the rest of the cast have a lot of fun on set too, Corrie's Twitter page recently shared a hilarious video from their bloopers and we haven't stopped laughing. You can watch it below…
