And it's not just Coronation Street that's affected, either - Emmerdale fans will miss out on two episodes on the same Mondays and Fridays, but at least viewers will have an hour-long episode on Thursday to tide them over.

England will be playing qualifying matches on both those days for the Euro 2020 tournament, going up against Czech Republic and Bulgaria for a spot in the European championships which will take place next year in 12 cities including London and Dublin.

Fans of daytime shows This Morning and Loose Women have been left unimpressed over the past few weeks, as ITV have had to remove them from the schedule to make way for the Rugby World Cup.

Unfortunately, there may be a few more weeks of the daytime schedule being changed, as the rugby tournament is due to continue for another month, finishing on 2nd November 2019.

Fans have been left seriously unhappy by the upset to their schedule, with many taking to Twitter to share their thoughts. One wrote, 'When is the rugby finishing I wanna watch this morning and loose women in peace,' as another added, 'I’m fed up of missing @thismorning @loosewomen during rugby. I can’t be the only viewer who is annoyed at ITV taking theses shows off air. Why can’t they put regular programmes on @itv2?'
