Jake Wood and his wife Alison Murrey have been married for 16 years
Congratulations are in order for Jake Wood – aka EastEnders' Max Branning – who has renewed his wedding vows with wife Alison Murrey.
The happy couple have been married for a whopping 16 years and decided to renew their vows on the exact day they met… 23 years ago!
The EastEnders actor and his wife recently had a Wed Fest – their personal "mini private Glastonbury" – in a filed in Herfordshire.

Not only did their children Amber, 12 and Buster, nine, attended the lovely ceremony but also some of Jake's co-stars.
Mainly his onscreen family members Lorna Fitzgerald (Abi Branning), Scott Maslen (Jack Branning), Jo Joyner (Tanya Branning), Jacquline Jossa (Lauren Branning) and her husband Dan Osborne and Steve McFadden (Phil Mitchell).
The 45-year-old actor admitted he only invited the co-stars he's "closest to," he went on to tell OK! magazine: "I’ve known Steve McFadden for years. We don’t get much of a chance to all hang out together socially because we’ve all got families, but we’ll have the occasional night out.
He added: "I’m really fond of Jac and Dan. They’re an awesome couple and I’m really pleased they’re in our lives."
Jake also revealed his secret to a such a strong marriage: "We obviously love each other a lot but also we’ve always wanted the same things.
“You’ve got to work hard at it and you’ve got to talk. Alison’s taught me that.
"We always have a date night once a week when we just hang out, catch up and talk. It’s a chance for us to check in with one another to make sure we’re still on track."
He added: "We’re not soppy but we know we love each other a lot. Alison means the world to me. I feel incredibly lucky to have been with such an amazing woman for so long and I’m looking forward to the next 23 years.”

The happy couple also invited some of Jake's former Strictly Come Dancing stars and we're treated to Alison Hammond and Jacqueline singing.
