Billie Faiers has welcomed her first daughter with boyfriend Greg Shepherd after weeks of anticipation.

The excited new mum took to Twitter to write:** "**We are so excited to announce the birth of our beautiful baby girl ... We are so happy and the proudest mummy and daddy in the world"

In a statement published today on Twitter, Billie's spokesman said: "@AMConceptsUK would like to announce our client @BillieFaiers has given birth to baby girl. Mother & Baby are doing well."

Sam Faiers tweeted: "Am the proudest aunty in the world. my baby niece is perfect!"

Billie is believed to have left hospital a few hours ago and is back home resting with her newborn.

Billie Faiers tricked fans recently with the above photo of her newborn nephew - we bet he and Billie's little girl will be firm friends.

The baby does not have a name yet and the weight has not been released.

The TOWIE star, who passed her due date weeks ago, is thought to have been joined by sister Sam Faiers, fiancé Greg Shepherd and her mum in the delivery room.

Meanwhile co-star Ferne McCann took to twitter to congratulate her TOWIE friend, writing: "Congratulations to my darling friend @BillieFaiers & @Gregshepherd_ on their baby girl. She is literally the most perfect, beautiful baby"

Billie announced her pregnancy back in January, then revealed the baby's sex during a party aired on TOWIE via a pink cake, showing it would be a baby girl.

Shortly after her pregnancy was announced, Billie became engaged to Greg. He proposed to her during a romantic holiday in the Maldives at the start of the year.
