Mama June, 35, has denied the claims, writing a post on her daughter Alana (Honey Boo Boo) Thompson’s social networking site that read:

“Remember you can’t believe everything you read!

“I promise my kids [are] #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else. I left him [McDaniel] 10 yrs ago for [his sex offenses,] and I wouldn’t go back.”

Despite her protests, TLC have cancelled the show and will not air season five – which has already been filmed – but state they will support June’s children, Alana, Jessica, Anna and Lauryn in the future.

“TLC has cancelled the series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately,” a spokesperson told the Mirror.
