Coleen Rooney has shared an adorable new snap of baby Kit, thanking fans for their well-wishes.
The 29-year-old gave birth to her third child on Sunday, and she took to Twitter to introduce him to her followers.
Alongside the cute snap, Coleen wrote: “Welcome to the world Kit.
“Thank you for the lovely messages. Both home & doing well. Thank you so much to @LiverpoolWomens hospital, fantastic yet again.”
But while Coleen’s fans were full of compliments, proud dad Wayne, 30, was cruelly trolled when he shared his own snap of their bundle of joy.
The footballer posted the picture of him looking down at his baby, writing: “Meeting Kit for the first time. Home time now.”
One user responded with a picture of a baby Shrek, referencing Wayne’s harsh nickname among some football fans.
Others hit out at Kit’s name, with one user writing: “Wonder how you came up with that name. Did you literally just say the first thing you saw in your house?”
We’re sure Wayne and Coleen are too busy getting to know their new baby to pay any attention to the trolls.
The couple are also parents to Kaim five and two-year-old Klay, who are said to be ‘happy and excited’ about the new addition to the family.
