As if X Factor judge Cheryl hasn’t had enough people discussing her weight recently, now the Loose Women ladies have had their say too.
Discussing the 32-year-old’s weight after magician Ben Hanlin made a rather insensitive joke live on the Xtra Factor over the weekend, Coleen Nolan didn’t mince her words this morning.
“She’s obviously got problems, you can see it, she’s lost so much weight,” Coleen pondered.
“The amount of people that are criticising her or making jokes, that’s really not going to help.
But the mother-of-three sympathised with Cheryl, adding:
“I just think skinny-shaming is just as bad as fat-shaming. Women are the worst for it. We just criticise each other for it all the time.”
And fellow panelist Jane Moore pointed out:
“The thing with Cheryl, I think she’s a little fragile because she’s crying a lot, but she’s also been a slight girl, so for her it takes a very small amount of weight loss to look significant.”
Poor Cheryl- would her weight be so openly discussed if she was plus size?
