But imagine your mum heard you having sex, and then discussed it with her friends – on her TV show.

That’s what happened to Coleen Nolan’s 26-year-old son, Shane Jr.

Making the cringe-worthy confession on Loose Women, Coleen said: “I came down one morning and had a missed call from Shane Junior and I’d missed it at four in the morning and I knew he’d been out so I was panicking, thinking oh my God, he might be in hospital and all that.

“And it had gone to voicemail and I was listening to it for about the first ten seconds and I was thinking, ‘What the hell is that?’

“Then I realised his phone had gone off during… his night of passion. And I hope he’s not watching today but let me say I listened four four and a half minutes.

“Four and a half minutes, I was dead impressed.”

But unfortunately for Coleen and, of course, Shane Junior, he was watching and he tweeted his agonising embarrassment.

He did manage to make a joke of the situation, adding: “In my defence, it was longer than 4 and a half minutes. Form a queue ladies #best4minutesofyourlife haha [sic]”

Shane Junior and his brother, Rixton star Jake, are Coleen’s children from her relationship with EastEnders star Shane Richie.
