Coleen wrote: 'I wanna run until my legs break, scream until I have no voice, cry until I cry blood... How's that for how I feel? X'

The tweet comes just two days following Bernie’s funeral, held at the Grand Theatre in her home town of Blackpool, Lancashire. Bernie made her stage debut in the same seaside town at just five years of age.

Coleen, 48, fought back tears as she arrived to pay her final respects to Bernie.

Differences between the Nolan Sisters were put aside as they paid their final respects to a well loved sister and performer. Coleen was later seen laughing with sisters Linda and Maureen after they warmly embraced outside the venue.

The sisters ensured that the day was to be a ‘celebration’ of Bernie’s life, as she had requested.

They united in showering Bernie’s only daughter, Erin, with affection throughout the day. Erin bravely read the poem Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep during the service.

Coleen told a British newspaper: ‘Bernie had planned every last minute of it… And so the funeral will be the party she wanted… it is just so sad she won’t be there for it.’

Bernie lost her three-year battle with cancer on July 4 at the age of 52, after being diagnosed in 2010.
