Just 9 months after the birth of their first son Jaxon, Claire Sweeny and partner Daniel Reilly have called time on their relationship.
Despite the split, the mum-of-one maintains that she and Daniel will stay ‘committed’ to bringing up their young son.
Claire told the MailOnline in a statement: "Whilst we have decided not to remain together we are committed to bringing up our wonderful son and making sure we are great parents and supporting each other to achieve that."
The couple split last year but reunited as Claire’s pregnancy developed.
Claire and Daniel were forced to face tough times together after suffering from two tragic miscarriages.
The former Brookside actress appeared happy with her other half when they stepped out together earlier this year, basking in their roles as new parents.
Following the birth of Jaxon, the 43-year-old revealed that she thought her dreams of becoming a mother.
She told the Daily Express: “I just never thought this was going to happen for me.”
Claire defiantly added: “I’m proof that you can be a mum in your forties.”
