Chris Evans has finally revealed his twins' real names after joking they were called Ping and Pong.
Chris Evans caused a the internet to go into meltdown earlier this week when he announced the arrival of his newborn twins, calling them Ping and Pong.
Breaking the news that his wife Natasha Shishmanian had given birth a boy and a girl, late on Wednesday night, Chris released a statement saying: “Ping and Pong arrived safe and well last night.”
He continued: “Ping popped her head out at 22:10, Pong popped his head out 12 minutes later at 22 minutes past 10. Both healthy, both strong, happy and blessed, as was mum throughout. Infinite thanks to the amazing team at Frimley Park Hospital, amazing people, amazing professionals, helping dreams come true. Thank you."
And the Twittersphere was quick to react to the interesting choice of names.
"Just read that Chris Evans has named his twins Ping and Pong, seriously, what idiot would do that to their own kids?," someone commented.
Thankfully, others picked up on the fact Chris was joking, adding comments such as: “If you believe Chris Evans will call his twins ping and pong, you need to re evaluate your life."
Now, Chris and Natasha, who are already parents to Noah, nine, and six-year-old Eli, have put the rumours to bed and finally revealed the real names they've chosen for the new additions to their family. The Sun reports the twins are called Boo and Walt.

"Good morning from myself and the team and from Team Evans back at home. Everyone up already..," he said.
"We've been up all night. We did go out to celebrate last night and we took the newborns with us.."
