Chloe, 33, discussed her former The Only Way Is Essex co-star's new career venture, questioning who would buy Ricky's music.
Writing in her column for Star magazine, Chloe said: "I haven't heard Ricky's new song, Stay True. I wasn't aware that he could sing!
"I haven't downloaded his last single, I'm Not That Easy, either. I'm not sure who's buying his music, but I don't think it will be my cup of tea. But maybe he'll have some success in Newcastle now that he's engaged to Marnie!"
Perhaps Chloe's last comment was a slight dig at Ricky, who quit the ITVBe reality show earlier this year to focus on his relationship with Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson.
At the time Ricky said: "Marnie was in the back of my mind and obviously it's very time consuming being on the show.
"So it was just nice for me to be able to take a step back and concentrate on my future, concentrate on starting a family with her and moving forward with her instead of the show."
Ricky isn't the first Essex cast member to attempt a music career: Jessica Wright has released two singles in the past, Lauren Goodger teased fans with recording studio snaps last year and Jasmin Walia even auditioned for The X Factor.
