Chloe, 32, has insisted she and 27-year-old Mario are just good friends, but that recent photos of the two of them might tell a different story.
Speaking to Star magazine, the TOWIE star said: “There were photos of us looking close but he was just shielding me from the paps because I was really drunk.
“He told me he’s broken up with Emma so I hope she’s not upset with me. He’s a good laugh, but we’re only mates.”
Despite looking loved-up in their regular Instagram snaps, model Emma and Italian stallion Mario broke-up earlier this year before engaging in a Twitter feud.
Emma wrote: “All you do is bring me down and put me down. This perfect boyfriend who continuously messages other girls. I’m done.”
Speaking to new! magazine, Mario – who recently quit the ITVBe reality show – confirmed he and Emma were no longer together.
He said: “I’ll always love her but we were on and off and it wasn’t working. I’m single. I’m looking for the one.”
