Marnie, 22, and 25-year-old Ricky got engaged earlier this year – but after she was spotted without her ring, it was reported that they'd called time on their relationship.
Now Celebrity Big Brother star Chloe has suggested she's been helping Marnie nurse a broken heart.
Speaking to OK! Online, Chloe said: "We're really good friends. She's really good. I'm not going to go too much into detail but we're spending a lot of time together at the minute. Lots of girly time for me and Marns."
Although their friendship may come as a a surprise to come, Chloe insists they've always been close.
She continued: "Me and Marnie are proper good friends, she really gets me."
In the beginning of their romance, Ricky and Geordie Shore's Marnie kept fans regularly updated with multiple loved-up selfies and posts, but they've been suspiciously quiet lately.
Marnie also raised eyebrows this month when she failed to acknowledge the former TOWIE star's birthday.
Although they've yet to confirm or deny a break-up, Ricky did blast claims his fiancée cheated.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "Unless the story comes from my mouth then don't believe a word the papers and magazine say [sic]."
