We love handing over control of our weekday mornings to Holly Willoughby

We feel like the 35-year-old presenter is a safe pair of hands as she talks us through real life stories, celebrity news, and kitchen skills while hosting This Morning on ITV.

And that’s all before even mentioning her impressive wardrobe (she really does kill it in the style stakes day after day).

But This Morning isn’t the only show Holls has fronted and her rich career actually stems back to the turn of the century when she first burst onto screens in a kids TV show.

She's guaranteed to go down in history as one of the nation's best loved TV personalities, and to celebrate her two decades on our screens, we've put together a conclusive timeline of Holly's career highlights.

Of course, it's not just Holly's incredible career we're in awe of.

Although she likes to keep her family away from the public eye, she's clearly a fantastic mum to children Belle (7), Harry (9) and Chester (4), and regularly gushes about producer hubby Dan Baldwin.

She's also got a tight-knit crew of the best gal pals around her, and counts Fearne Cotton, Christine Bleakely, Emma Bunton and Rochelle Humes as her closest friends.

But the best thing about Holly is undoubtedly her penchant for letting her hair down and unleashing her silly side on national TV – and we can't help but love her all the more for it!

Most recently, she joined The One Show as a guest to discuss this year's Dancing on Ice final, and viewers were quick to spot she'd had a few vinos!

"Holly Willoughby is drunk on the One Show and it’s making me LAUGH," wrote one commenter on Twitter.

Another said, "Holly Willoughby steaming drunk on The One Show is the funniest thing I’ve seen all week 😂 🍷 🥂".

It's safe to say it – Holly Willoughby is a MAJOR girl crush for Closer.
