Cheryl, 30, and Ashley, 33, got divorced in 2010 after allegations of him cheating, but he was still on of the first people to congratulate her on her new job.

The former Girls Aloud singer and dancer Tre, 28, split last year but sources say that she is still friends with both him and Ashley.

A source told a UK newspaper: “She will be a bag of nerves backstage at the shows and she knows Ashley and Tre have always been great at calming her down.

“She’s still friends with both of them and will have them on her guest list to hang out with. They’ve already both agreed to come. Most people think she’s amazing that Cheryl wants them at various live shows to put her at ease before she goes in front of the cameras – but they’ve said yes!”

It seems that Ashley and Tre are working out it between them so that someone will always be there for Cheryl, with the source adding: “Tre will be at nearly all the shows and Ashley is ready to step in on the days he won’t be able to get there.”

When Cheryl was on the show the first time around, she and Simon Cowell, 54, used to spend their free time hanging out. But now Simon has girlfriend Lauren Silverman, 37, and new baby boy Eric, Cheryl has had to make other arrangements.

“Cheryl is really nervous about the shows – especially after the American X Factor turned out to be a disaster for her. So having two men there who know her really well will make her feel more comfortable and secure.

“Cheryl texts and talks to both of them regularly so it won’t be at all awkward having them around.”
