After weeks of secrecy, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Liam Payne began flaunting their relationship with gushing Instagram posts and declarations of love and last week they went on their first public date to celebrate the birthday of Cheryl's PA at a London restaurant.

"She thought it would be less intense, and she wanted to introduce them properly as a couple. Her mum sat on one side of her and Liam on the other.
"She wore a 'love' necklace for attention because she likes playing games with the press and paparazzi, it's her idea of fun and was a subtle way to warn off any of Liam’s admirers."
