Last week Cheryl shocked the nation when she sensationally quit The X Factor, revealing that she wanted to focus on making music.
But now Closer has learnt that there may be another reason behind the 32-year-old’s departure from the hit TV show. Sources close to Cheryl have revealed she’d love to try for a baby with boyfriend, Liam Payne, 22.
The couple – who have recently been living together in LA – have only been together a few months but insiders close to Cheryl say she believes that One Direction singer Liam could be the right person to start a family with.
A source said, “Cheryl wants to do what makes her happy. Her focus is on the new album, Liam and having a baby.”
Cheryl, who ended her 18-month marriage to Frenchman Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini late last year, has previously made no secret of her desire to have children.
She once confessed: “I know that’s what I was put on the Earth to do – to be a mother.”
The source said, “Things are so different with Liam compared to JB,” adding, “She’s the happiest she’s been in years.”
