Cheryl hits out at miming criticism: ‘Don’t mug yourself off…It’s not cute’

Days after debuting her new single I Don’t Care on The X Factor, and the star is still having to defend herself over accusations she mimed during the performance.

Twitter trolls have continued to attack the star, claiming she mimed during Sunday's installment of the show.

One even asked: ‘Do we get discount on your mimed performance you did on Sat?’

Not to take the criticism lying down, Cheryl quickly replied: ‘Aww bless you live performances are not included on albums I’m afraid.’

‘And I performed on Sunday! Don’t mug yourself off on my page. It’s not cute. Go teach some dance instead,’ the star added.

Cheryl replied to her critics on Twitter

A spokesperson for the 31-year-old said Cheryl’s performance, which saw the star don a plunging white crop top and thigh high boots, was indeed a live one.

This criticism will come as a double blow to Cheryl, after she lost another of her acts, Lola Saunders, on Sunday night, as she was beaten by boyband Stereo Kicks.
